Alvediston, missing sign, 7th August
What happened to the fingerpost sign near The Crown Inn junction in the village. There's no longer any indication where the road to the north goes (to the A30). It's been missing sometime. Really annoying when you're not familiar with the area. NB I can no longer put pins in the map, is it me (Firefox browser but that's not new) or is there a problem?!)

Blocked bridleway, 10th July
As far as I could tell from the OS map and the signing, the bridleway should be to the right of the properties. However, it quickly became quite inaccessible, with lots of old dead overgrowth as well as undergrowth. We found a gap in the left hand fence and continued northwards on the adjacent farm track but didn't believe this was the right of way. (We also recovered some stolen property, so someone will be glad we went that way!)
