There is a large pothole that is filled in EVERY year, all the tarmac is on the pavement making it difficult to walk. It would seem to me that if the job is completed properly then it wont have to be re-visited each year.

Several deep potholes and badly sunken drains, 3rd February
Several large and deep potholes and badly sunken drains along Porton Road past the mobile home village, between the roundabout with Raleigh Crescent and the roundabout with Mills Way. These are dangerous, causing vehicles to swerve. Several are close to the kerb where they represent a lethal hazard to cyclists. Unless repaired urgently they are likely to be the cause of an accident on this busy road. This problem has been apparent for at least 3 weeks and should be addressed without further delay.

Sunken gully lid, 19th January
Gully lid has sunk on Porton Road, Amesbury just south of the junction with Sun Rise Way, causing a large drop in the road. This is a recurring problem over several months. It get's patched up with tarmac around the lid, but then the hole forms again. Needs a more permanent repair, i.e the lid needs raising and resetting and tarmacing around properly. It's dangerous and is no doubt causing damage to cars, mine included,

The street was swept...sort of, 9th July
As per previous reports. I reported earlier this week that when the street is swept it happens at 6:00am with a massive lorry, and therefore isnt done properly, so the detritus that is missed blocks the drainage gullies when it rains. Here is the street literally 10 mins after it was swept this morning. See the yew blossom in the gutter, the lorry missed that entirely....despite the recent reports! I can't post 2 pics on this system....but on this side of the road which is the lower side, cars are parked all the way along the kerb, so once again it was not swept.
