Drain not working causing flooding on road, 3rd January
Drain overflows constantly. Camber of road forces water into cob wall causing damage. Verge eroded due to water damage. Vehicles hitting the wall due to erosion of verge and road condition. Been reported a few times. Thanks for help, Nikki.

Big dip on the junction, 6th March
On the corner the road has fallen away leaving a fairly large dip which is difficult to avoid. This has the potential to damage tyres and is dangerous to cyclists too, especially as it is a fairly tight junction meaning you have to swing out to the wrong side of the road to avoid it and you can't always see traffic coming down the hill.

Road surface in very poor condition, 6th March
There is about 100 yard stretch on the downhill approach to the junction with lots of potholes in the road on both sides, making it very dangerous for all road users.

Lots of potholes, 6th March
The road is in a very poor condition on the junction of Amesbury Road and Wiremead Lane, just by the A303 bridge. All along the white lines across the junction there are lots of holes that need filling and the lines re-painting.

Poor road surface patching creating a noisy bump, 28th February
A tarmac patching job has created a notable raised lump in the road surface on the eastbound dual carriageway. This is causing a loud thud each time vehicles, particularly HGVs, go over it which is impacting local residents. It is particularly disruptive at night. We believe this issue has appeared in the last week or so.

Loose drain cover between the Thruxton turn offs going Eastbound towards Andover, 27th February
Every time a large vehicle such as a lorry goes over the drain it makes a loud thudding noise. At night time this is particularly noisy for the residents living directly behind the A303. The drain cover is located somewhere between the two turn offs at Thruxton heading Eastbound towards Andover.

Overgrown trees, 2nd August
Several of the trees bordering the a303/our garden have become overgrown in recent years. We have paid to have them maintained by a tree surgeon on the side towards our garden but the tree surgeon advised he was unable to do anything more safely due to their proximity to the road. These trees block a great deal of light and we are unclear how we go about getting them pruned and reduced in height. Our local councillor has directed us here. In addition there is a snapped branch on one tree which is hanging over the road. Many thanks
