Has been there for 6 months or more. The NW edge of the tarmac is missing for about 15 inches encroaching at least 6 inches into the road. Will damage vehicles. There is a deep and dangerous drop into the hole as the surface and supporting hardcore is completely missing. Immediately to left of the entrance to the Coach House...

Drainage hole blocked and allowing access water to run down the drives., 18th September
My neighbour at the top of the drive has reported this problem back in Nov 2022 and more recently in August 2023. After last nights torrential rain I have had a river running down the drive which has come off the road, past our neighbours. I had an inch thick of silt at the bottom of our steps. The sump under the road drain fills quickly with silt, leaves and road stone and the drain is covered sending water etc down both my neighbour and my drive. Our neighbour regularly clears the debris off the top of the drain.
If the drain sump was emptied regularly the problem would be eased.

Significant pothole on B3420 Winchester Road., 31st March
There is a seriously impressive pothole at this location. I've marked it on the map as closely as I can but I would recommend that your repair team use the GPS on the still from my dashcam to find it. The alternative is to drive down this road and find it the hard way like I did and hope for the best. Perhaps your maintenance team could look at it while they look at the state of the road on the bridge that I have also just reported here:

Many potholes on and around the bridge, B3420 Winchester Road at Wherwell., 31st March
The road surface on and around this bridge is in a shocking state of repair - I encountered this last night as part of a detour and was genuinely surprised that I didn't fracture an alloy or lose a tyre here. Driving over this triggered the ESP and ABS on my car - the locals must all drive armoured personell carriers if this has not been reported before.
This is outright dangerous since driving over this rocks a car from side to side. Please resolve this issue before serious damage or injury occurs.

Blocked storm water drainage creating floods across road, 6th April
The drain covers are higher than the surrounding highway and are completely blocked with debris. Every time it rains the rain water floods the road rather than being able to freely run away down the storm drains. Can you please arrange for the drains to be cleared of all debris allowing them to free flow. Can the drain covers be lowered to allow rain water to free flow.

Broken branch sticking out, 3rd September
Travelling southbound on A3057 and about half mile before Cottonworth there is a large broken branch that sticks out slightly into the road at a narrow point. Vehicles have to swerve out to the middle white line or just over into the oncoming traffic. I use this road frequently and have seen some very hazardous avoidance swerves.

Slippery pathway from carpark to primary school, 23rd December
Whilst taking my grandchild from the public parking area to the school I slipped and fell, twisting my knee on a muddy slippery footpath. This could easily be gravelled at little cost to prevent such incidents. It is the only path to the school and hence required urgent attention

There is a pothole on the road, when driving in a southerly direction, large enough to puncture my tyre. It isn't clearly visible when the road is wet so it can easily catch people out.

Overgrow verges, 5th June
Overgrown verges, now very dangerous as cannot see in either direction when coming out of Newton Stacey on to the B3420. It is an accident black spot. There is only normally a limited view, but now due to the overgrown verges you can see absolutely nothing.

Report over three months ago, was marked by the council, marks have worn off. Getting bigger, you have to drive through it to get out at the crossroads.

Large potholes and road surface deterioration, 27th February
Please see the attached images of our road problem. Delivery lorry’s are refusing to come up, as it is getting so bad. The postcode is SP11 7JE. I have attached one photo but have another two to send. Please advise on whom I should send this to.
