There is a huge trench pothole about the size of a small car. This has been caused by all the HGVs that are attending the road and navigating the 3 way lights. If left in this state within the next 3-4 weeks the potholes will be the size of an SUV.

Soak-aways blocked with mud, 7th July
There are three soak-aways at the bottom of Bourne Hill, by the War Memorial, all of which are full of mud.
These need to be clean and emptied to help drain off the surface water on a regular basis. This has not happened sadly, and we are experiencing flooding issues.

Post has been knocked & removed, 10th May
A timber post that protected pedestrians as they walked along the footpath opposite the village hall has been knocked over and removed.
The post had got rotten over time, and sadly met its match with a delivery van. The whole has been filled with shingle temporarily.
New post required to help protect pedestrians from motorists.

Blocked Drain & Sewage Getting Into River, 27th April
The penny slot drain that runs in front of The House and other homes at SP11 6AY, is blocked.
However, there is sewage getting into the penny slot drain, that is coming up from a BT manhole further up the road. This is also getting into the river which is a major environmental issue.
A solution is needed, as the drains need to be cleaned, as I have an 18 month old child and pets that have to cross this area getting into my home.

Fence has rotten and broken, a couple of fence post need replacing. The fence acts as a barrier to the river below.

Bridge has collapsed into the river, 29th November
Bridge was hit may a lorry nearly 5 months ago. No one has been out to fix it, not it is falling into the river.
This is very dangerous for pedestrians and motorists, let alone it is polluting the river.

The road has corroded away due to poor drainage, leaving lots of pot holes along the road edge on both side of the road

Loose paving stones, 9th July
A number of the paving stones that outline the footpaths either side of the highway near the village hall in St Mary Bourne have come loose.
This has caused a few accidents with some of the residents (young and old) tripping up and falling over.
