Wheel damged due large pothole.., 21st March
Adjacent to the entrance of Capes Hatherden Ltd's Grain storage facility on eastern side of Hatherden Lane is a long pothole. Approx. 1/4 mile south of The Fox Inn. Tangley, Hants. SP11 0RU Dimensions 240 X 44 X 10 cms. My car suffered a damaged wheel and immediate tyre deflation. Awaiting confirmation from tyre workshop if repair or replacement required.

Tarmac near drain grating has broken up and been carried away. There is now a large hole on the left of the southbound side of the road. I have seen cars and cyclists swerve to avoid the hole. This is on a restricted width road, with poor natural lighting, and on a bend, very close to a school crossing with restricted views. Someone could be injured if this is not fixed promptly.
