Continous blocked gulley/drain/mainhole, 22nd March

Fri, 22 Mar 2024 07:00:54 +0000
51.500955 0.163878

The drain/gulley in Fishers Way, adjacent to the Lidl building site is continously blocked and causes huge swathes of foul water. This is do bad now, that the level doesn't drop even if no rain. The attached picture was taken on 22nd April when there hadn't been any rain for at least 2 days. This quantity of foul water can be a health risk to passing pedestrians. This has been reported multiple times which infers there's a major problem with the deep buried pipes, not just a blocked gully.

Previous report 5584754 issued this morning at 9.07am this morning appears to have been closed without anything being implemented to resolve the current issues or any feedback provided informing us if any action has been taken. The main issues are as follows: Pedestrian access / egress to Lidl site is blocked by the Thames Water excavation works and a temporary method of access / egress needs to be provided to allow Lidl operations to function. No pedestrian / cycling crossing point is currently provided as part of the TM system in place to get the general public across Crabtree Manor Way. Can someone contact me on 07971 440083 to discuss how and when these issued will be resolved.

Flytipping along Picardy Manorway around flat development, 18th January

Thu, 18 Jan 2024 11:04:19 +0000
51.498108 0.154644

Hello Bexley Council, I would like to report fly tipping issue which has been reported several times before. I live in a flat development in lower Belvedere area and despite regularly paying for a Council Tax and Service charge, we’re surrounded by rubbish which is only accumulating. I have not seen a single cleaner walking the area and maintaining the area, apart from an occasional cleaners clearing certain dumping spots after they were reported. I have already raised the query with the manager of a Belvedere Park Development, but they’re unable to help as the area of tipping issue is not under their ownership, but it belongs to you - Bexley Council. What can be done about it?! Can the area be cleaned and maintained at a regular basis? It is very sad and shameful looking out of our windows and seeing all that rubbish after paying £1,810 per year for a Council Tax and over £2,000 for a Service charge. Please see some recent pictures attached where the issue is - all along Picardy Manorway - lower Belvedere - around the flat development - by the road & in bushes. I hope there is a solution to this problem and I believe it can be resolved. I’m looking forward to hear back from you.

Broken bollards on pavement in Viking Way are causing a trip hazard this is coupled with non existant street lighting, 16th January

Tue, 16 Jan 2024 12:37:54 +0000
51.492047 0.166306

The broken bollards have been like it for ages. There is also a dip in the pavement which is causing staff working in our depot to twist ankles etc. There are stumps left in the pavement where concrete bollards have been broken and are dangerous trip hazards. This is the main throughfare to reach our building which is at the end of Viking Way. Most of our staff journey by bus so need a safe option on the pavement. Due to the lighting it is not feasible walking in the road due to traffic coming to and from other units on site. This is the only pavement which is available to walk along in Viking Way. I have videos available and more photos. I have counted more than a dozen trip hazards on this pavement and is only a matter of time before someone hurts themselves with the limited light on these darker mornings and afternoons/evenings.
