Unsafe for pedestrians, Inc School kids, 1st April
This is an incredibly dangerous section of road for pedestrians, as there is no footpath but there are cars coming from both directions around corners and often very fast. Newly created pond flooding road, 26th February
This area was cleared heavily to create a large pond which is now so high the water is running across the road all the time and causing a safety risk when frozen. In addition the whole area cleared has just become full of litter, a car wheel, a traffic cone and looks very unsightly.

Large pothole., 22nd February
Very large pothole on west-bound side, extends from verge to almost the centre of the road and collects lots of water, disguising the depth of it. Very dangerous for cyclists and motor bikers. Also cars need to move to other lane to avoid it.

Pavement in very poor state and lacks adequate lighting, 9th February
There are numerous issues with the pavement between Quarry Road and Woodhurst Park.
Near Quarry Road there is no pavement edging on the non road side. There is long crevice running along most of it and it has caused injury to pedestrians, runners and I've seen a Pram get stuck in the past.
Further down from Quarry Road where there is a confluence of driveways joining Woodhurst Lane, there are numerous trip hazards where the pavement has been dug up and then made good, some of these areas are sinking or the surface is completely broken. Again this has caused accidents and injuries to pedestrians and runners in the past. This area is completely unlit.
Finally the pavement section from Woodhurst Lane bridge to Woodhurst Park floods constantly and constantly has an inch of mud across the path.

Grass being ruined, 24th January
Drivers continuously driving across grass in front of houses and parking, turning the grass into mud with tyre tracks and mud getting onto pavements causing possible slip hazards for pedestrians. Also an eyesore. Upkeep of the grass during the cutting season I believe is the responsibiity of SCC and if so surely they should be able to stop cars driving on the grass and parking.

Pothole - been there for ages!, 4th January
Pothole right at junction of Tanhouse Lane and Broadham Green Road. You have to hit it every time you turn from Broadham Green Road into Tanhouse Lane. Like so many others, this one has been there for many months and will, no doubt, get worse over the winter.

Multiple potholes and extensive damage to road surface., 6th December
Damage has been occurring steadily over many months to the surface of the road outside the coucil depot in Warren Lane. There are now several potholes and multiple cracks in the road surface. The number of heavy Biffa Waste and recycling truck movements, exacerbated by the huge tankers which use the water treatment works makes this a continuing issue as the road has never been properly resurfaced, just continually patched. Most of the fixes are re-damaged with weeks, and sometimes within days.
