Pothole getting worse, 11th April

Thu, 11 Apr 2024 17:19:51 +0100
51.156356 -0.023378

THis has been reported previously and was deemed not to warrant repair. Inevitably it has got worse since, possibly as a result of the work on the pavement adjacent which doubled traffic over it and also prevented vehicles swerving to avoid it!

A manhole cover on road outside 8 Headland Way, RH7 6BP, is again tipped at an angle and liable to damage tyres and wheels.. It was replaced but not properly secure - ie still slightly tipped but now has been tipped again (by parking?) As resident at 10 Headland Way I am concerned for my car getting in and out of my property as well as many others who use this road. There is no writing on the cover so I don't know whose responsibility it is. C E P Matthews. 10 Headland Way

Blocked drains, 4th January

Thu, 04 Jan 2024 14:44:05 +0000
51.174188 -0.012422

Drains the complete way up Town Hill are completely blocked. Sporadic sucklifting does nothing and they block again intstantly. Currently, the issue is such that the pressure behind the buildup of silt and leaves is raising ironwork in the road causing a hazard to traffic. A full inspection is required with remedial actions taken to prevent future recurrence. Surely, you'd think its not beyond the wit of Surrey Highways to action, given, its what they're there for?

Continual flooding with every passing shower., 4th January

Thu, 04 Jan 2024 14:38:12 +0000
51.172708 -0.008517

Past 15-years, this location has flooded through the winter with the slightest amount of rain. The drains in the location are blocked. The last attempt to unblock them lasted the summer, but they instantly blocked again as soon as the winter rains started. Clearly the infrastructure is unfit for purpose. Often the flood spreads across the full width of the road causing traffic in both directions to drive head on to get past. I keep reporting the issue, but Highways Surrey keep removing the report from their site, I assume so they don't have to do anything about it - Any chance someone could actually deal with the issue?
