A manhole cover on road outside 8 Headland Way, RH7 6BP, is again tipped at an angle and liable to damage tyres and wheels.. It was replaced but not properly secure - ie still slightly tipped but now has been tipped again (by parking?) As resident at 10 Headland Way I am concerned for my car getting in and out of my property as well as many others who use this road. There is no writing on the cover so I don't know whose responsibility it is. C E P Matthews. 10 Headland Way

Blocked drains, 4th January
Drains the complete way up Town Hill are completely blocked. Sporadic sucklifting does nothing and they block again intstantly. Currently, the issue is such that the pressure behind the buildup of silt and leaves is raising ironwork in the road causing a hazard to traffic.
A full inspection is required with remedial actions taken to prevent future recurrence. Surely, you'd think its not beyond the wit of Surrey Highways to action, given, its what they're there for?

Thud/bang serious enough for me to check the wheel as soon as I was able. It’s in between the two islands to slow traffic but nearer to the one nearest to Lingfield.
