FIXMYSTREET IN RH4 2PB
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of RH4 2PB:
Potholes Plural, 25th April
On the section of road between Red Lane and Mill Lane I counted over 20 potholes both large and small along this section. They are impossible to avoid as they are on both sides of the road now. It has become very dangerous now to both cars and cyclists especially at night. I notice that a couple of them have received the councils new orange spray paint. I’m no engineer but the road needs total resurfacing and I urge the council not to waste valuable funds on patching up this road. Thank you.

Residential Parking Problem, 13th April
For the last 10 months, since subsidence works on number 9 and 10 Heatherlands RH4 2LX, the cul de sac has become very untidy. Residents visitors continually park their vehicles on what was lovely green grass area and churning it up so it is now just a mud bath. They have no respect, most of the residents are elderly and disabled and it now presents a slip hazard for those that actually live in this once nice respectable cul de sac. Perhaps the following could be considered: 1. Labelled parking for residents ONLY (like in the next cul de sac) 2. Allocated parking for residents only. 3. Disabled parking made clear as paint is rubbing off. 4. Tarmac the muddy area and provide more parking bays. This problem will also prevent ambulance or fire service attendance should an emergency arise. I know that other residents of Heathersland have advised of this problem and would like it to be returned to a neat abd pleasant place to live. My mother lives in this cul de sac and I have just spent the afternoon trying to tidy up the pathway outside numbers 9,10,11 as all the mud and grit had run on to the path. It really is an eye sore and was once, not too long ago, a lovely area. The local Councillor has also recently paid a visit and was surprised how messy the area now looks. For the small amount of grass now visible, even that is not mowed ny the Council anymore. Any help here would be much appreciated.
