4 potholes at the junction of Tapners Road with Flanchford Road, one of which is very large, 15th March
There are 4 potholes of various size. The largest is approx 20 inches square and 6 inches deep. This one is impossible to avoid when there is a vehicle coming in the opposite direction as you turn into Flanchford Road. When it is dark or full of water it is difficult to see it. Most of the road surface here is crumbling. It is a busy junction and the problem has been getting progressively worse over the last few weeks.

Deep pothole start of Flanchford Rd, 26th March

Pothole on side of Brockhamhurst Road, travelling west towards Holmwood., 27th November
Hole is approx 80cm x40cm x20cm deep. It has a traffic cone in it at the moment but is still difficult to see in the dark, particularly when full of rainwater.

Big potholes and uneven road surface, 30th July
The dents and potholes here are obscured by a partial resurfacing that means they are virtually invisible. Seriously dangerous to cyclists. I know of one crash here a couple of years ago when it was reported before and a top dressing was put on it to no effect. It's getting worse.

Advertising board blocking view at junction, 1st July
At the junction of Flanchford Road and Tapners Road, Leigh, Top Cat Cattery has a board advertising their new tea room. This has been placed alternatively on either side of the junction in the grass verge, which is not part of their property. Whilst waiting at the junction to turn out of Flanchford Road, it blocks the view of traffic coming from Leigh village, making it extremely difficult to see if the road is clear. This hazard could be responsible for an accident on this busy road.
