60cm by 70cm pothole over 10cm deep., 13th February
This and many more potholes have been here for months and are getting worse due to surface water constantly running down lane. Drainage gullies were put in years ago to prevent this but were never maintained and put in mud verges rather than on road edge therefore did not catch water. Lane is too narrow to avoid the potholes and are damaging car tyres and suspension.

Large pothole going towards pulborough, 15th January
Large pothole which is increasing in depth and width over month. On narrow unlit section of road which is now very busy early in morning and late at night due to the west a Chilt road closure. Impossible to avoid and would be fatal for the many cyclists now using this route to access station from West Chilt.

The whole patch of road is covered in multiple pot holes, 10th January
The road is notorious for potholes and it’s never repaired properly. There are now multiple, deep pot holes on this stretch of road. I’m a cyclist and came off my bike riding on this road as didn’t see pot holes as covered with puddle of water. Luckily I was uninjured but it’s only a matter of time before something terrible happens.
