Sunken road surface, 3rd April
Along this road (B2272) just before the traffic lights the road is uneven and water repeatedly pools across a large section of it, causing the traffic to slow (when motorists notice it in time as it's just around a bend) and is also detrimental for pedestrians walking alongside the road so as to avoid getting soaked in the surface water that pools there due to uneven road surfacing and lack of drainage.

Just after the parked cars, there is a pot hole that seems to get fixed, very poorly, as it's back, yet the hole road has issues having to go on the other side of the road to miss pot holes, for a 40 mph road its dangerous.

Deep potholes now present on whole of Hanlye Lanr, 24th March

Safeguarding issue - Children's crossing, 22nd January
There is a narrow, single lane, priority section of the road that is also a crossing point for children. Due to the high volume of traffic during school pick up and drop off, cars move in to the single lane section and then get stuck there as they cannot reverse back and cars from London lane cannot go back on to the main road either. This is a section of road where children cross so visibility becomes greatly reduced and it is not a safe way for them to cross the road with cars at a stalemate and not moving out of the section of road. We would request that someone comes to look at it.

Sunken and loose drain cover on London Road near Barrowfield, 16th December
The drain cover was replaced a few months ago, but it was not raised properly, and the repaired tarmac around is all breaking up again. Every time a vehicle drives over it there is a tremendous banging, which can be heard some distance away. It is by the pedestrian crossing near the end of Barrowfield, Cuckfield.
