Illegal parking on pavement, 4th April
Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for this service, I find I am too nervous to take action myself. This car and several others park on the pavement outside these houses, completely blocking the walkway and sometimes the entrances to two houses 38 Saddlers Close and the two terrace houses in the row. This has been a consistent issue for several weeks now. Thank you for any help

Floods every time it rains, 2nd March
I’m not sure how many times I and others have to report this, but every time we have a downpour this road floods, it’s indescribable how much car part debris is left after people have driven through the flood adding to the hazard once the floods subside. It’s next to a railway emBankman and on a hill so it’s just total lack of investment and sadly a useless council which has had this reported so many times that will not deal with the Problem.

Street Lights not switched on, 3rd October
Hello,
Please could you turn the street lights on down Silver Lane by 6am? I, like many others, have to walk this route to get to Billingshurst Station - it’s incredibly dark and dangerous without any street lights showing the way.
Now that the nights are longer than the day, it’d be great if the working hours of the street lights could be updated to reflect the dark periods.
Thank you

Rubbish repair, 18th September
The pothole previously reported has had a repair a nine year old child could of done better, I travel the country extensively and see other councils repair potholes like this one property so they last several winters , this one will last weeks once the winter weather returns . What a wasted repair and waste of money

Flooding and pothole, 24th July
I have complained about the large pothole and break up if surface in the middle of this part of the road near the railway bridge. This area continually floods as I understand it’s run off for the nearby caravan park ? given my daughters partner who regularly uses this route to go to Guildford to work on a petrol driven scooter. It’s hideous to expect her to try and either go through the flooded water or indeed across that massive pothole .Fine If you’re in a four wheeled vehicle, BUT !!! do you not give consideration to people on smaller forms of transport. I look forward to your thoughts and reply as I have complained about this numerous times.

This needs fixing, 11th July
Having reported this to West Sussex months ago, if you’re trying to avoid the flooding you have to drive over this surface break up and pothole, which is quite large about 6 foot long by 2 foot wide again if you’re on two wheels this is very dangerous. Why does the council never consider this? Do you always have to be in a Land Rover to drive anywhere in West Sussex

Incorrect speed lumit, 5th June
As you come up East Street from village 30mph, after Hammonds Roundabout before a sharp S bend it changes to 60mph?, which runs past a residential park home ,a) it is extremely difficult to get out into a road that has a speed limit if 60mph with limited visibility b) vehicles and motorcycles regularly do in excess of 60mph. There have been 4 accidents in the 9 months since we moved to the residential park home site l This speed limit needs to be reduced to 30 mph ( max 40mph), before there is a death. Also, we were advised a public footpath was being put in from site entrance to Hammond's Roundabout to enable access by foot to village, when us this happening please?
