Edge of road subsiding, 25th August
The edge of the road has subsided into the drainage ditch following heavy rain , standing water & hgv traffic driving close to the edge of the ditch at a narrow blind corner. This fault was reported 2 to 3 years ago and hs deteriorated markedly in the past 6 months. This has narrowed the road at a blind corner and is a developing safety hazard. There are no road markings to warn of road edges or the presence of a ditch adjacent to the tarmac since these have progressively collapsed or been removed.

15inch pothole on Dunsfold Road, 9th September
This pothole is about 3 inches deep and 15 inches long on the eastern side of the road about 100m south of the turning for Old Dungate Farm and opposite the driveway to the house on the western side of the road. It is very hard to see when driving as it is at the edge of the road and in the shadow of the trees so you won't know it's there until you have driven through it. When I drove through the pothole it resulted in my front left tyre going flat and having to be replaced.

Excessive Mud on Road, 23rd December
Excessive mud & gravel is being distributed from the access track via large heavy lorries exiting the track on the south side of the road. The mud is accumulating on a roadway that regularly freezes during periods of sustained sub zero temperatures and is likely to increase the degree of dangerous slippage for vehicles when the road has not been gritted. Heavy vehicles have been observed leaving the driveway at 07:30 during weekdays with no apparent attempts to clean the vehicles wheels, hence the accumulation of mud & gravel. The accumulation of mud has been occurring noticeably since September 2014.

Blocked Drainage Trench, 19th November
There has been a blocked drainage trench on the south side of the road since February 2012. This regularly floods the highway with standing water. The highway surface was not properly relaid in this area during the repair/resurfacing works in Spring 2012, hence is now breaking up particularly along the side fronting the open drain. The standing water represents a potential skid hazard during freezing conditions. This should have been cleared during the highways works ,hence the works were never properly completed in this area with the road surface breaking down immediately. This needs to be urgently addressed.
