Vehicle abandoned on pavement, 20th July
This vehicle has been abandoned on the pavement near the Hare and Hounds pub for at least 3 weeks. I have observed several mothers with prams and a wheelchair user having to cross the busy road to get by.

Overgrown grass blocking motorist view, 24th June
Please maintain/cut the grass on the verge of the intersection. As it is blocking the view of oncoming traffic making it dangerous to turn onto the A272.

Broken Manhole Cover, 12th January
The Manhole cover near to Dennies Cafe has been broken for some 2 months, creating an awful disturbing noise as cars drive over it. Overgrown shrubbery from private property blocking view of junction, 22nd May
2 years ago I reported the same issue regarding overgrown shrubbery blocking the view at the junction of the B2116 and A281. The resident has removed their fence panels, allowing the shrubbery to grow through. This issue forces cars to drive into the road to gain a view from the Horsham direction, this then puts the driver at risk of being hit by traffic coming from the Henfield direction. I myself have had issues seeing up the road and I have a history of driving. A new driver or not so confident driver may not be so lucky and have an accident. This needs to be re-addressed.

Large wide area of defective road surface, 3rd January
The road has been in a very poor state for months and months, there is now a bumpy surface warning sign there but this is very dangerous and impossible to avoid without driving entirely on the wrong side of the road. This nearly caused a bad accident when I tried to avoid it and the car behind decided to overtake right at that moment!

Top surface of carriageway is missing, 25th September
On the southbound carriageway about 5 metres nothing of the tuning to the Monastery approximately 8m2 of the tarmac is missing and despite previous reports nothing has been done. its a danger to all road users especially motorcycles as it is an unrestricted road (60 mph) NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!
