Pothole/sinking road, 21st April
There are now two large potholes in the road on the approach to the industrial estate on the brow of the bridge hill, this causes vehicles to be on the wrong side of the road. Because drivers are unable to fully see oncoming traffic an accident is very likely, I suffered a near miss today, and if there is an accident it will fall to the council for not dealing with this, and in my opinion be liable.

Fence falling apart at the bottom of Hocken Mead on the boundary of M23., 11th April
The fence has some broken arris rail and some missing / broken boards. This used as a fox run onto the motorway embankment. My dog chased a fox today a nearly got through the fence towards the motorway, this could have been very dangerous. The fence has been getting worse over the last year or so.

Can someone explain the the illogical way x West Sussex Highways repairs potholes in this section of road? Reported repeatedly since January, and despite two sets of temporary traffic lights, this piece or road remains riddled with deep potholes. Last week’s temporary lights gave hope of a complete repair. Alas, one or two potholes filled in, but 7 or 8 remain! Why not do a proper job and repair them all at the same time?

20 metre x1 metre stretch of tarmac collapsing on left side of road., 22nd March
Deteriorating quickly more recently. Narrow close with parking on one side means all HGVs, delivery trucks, refuse trucks traverse the same bit of tarmac and it is collapsing.

So much litter at Junction 10 on M23. It's getting worse every day, 20th March
The litter problem is proving to be a nightmare at the Junction 10. The roads have too many potholes too.

Fly tipping over on on crash barriers - lay-by A2011, 19th March
Huge amount of fly tipping (tonnes of rubbish) dumped over crash barriers to lay-by (East Bound - A2011). Builders waste, mattresses, fridges, sofas and dozen and dozens of bags of rubbish. Which extends down the bank. Tonnes and tonnes of it - a massive clean up operation required. A 2 meter closed board fence along this stretch of lay-by would solve the problem of future dumping.
