Massively overgrown bushes force drivers to single-lane mode, 27th August
Bushes on either side of the road are overgrown and force drivers to single-lane mode. The other week I had to reverse 30 meters to safely pass the other vehicle.
During school year, this road gets very busy in drop-off and pick up hours and is often used by farm traffic and vans.
Please cut these bushes to improve safety on the Tidmarsh Lane (it should be reviewed in its entirety).

Speed limits obscured, 7th July
At north boundary of Tidmarsh on A340, signs marking transition between 30mph and 40mph are pretty much invisible from either direction, owing to overgrown vegetation.
The village has no street lighting and so, in the absence of valid signage, drivers could easily assume the 30mph road to be a continuation of the 40mph from Pangbourne or even to be NSL, leading to excessive speed as well as conflict with local drivers who are aware of the limits. It might also render the subsequent Gatso speed camera useless for prosecution?
Looking at Google streetview images, this situation seems to have prevailed for at least a year. I could have absolutely sworn that I raised this issue some months ago, but can find no record of it on Fixmystreet. Has it accidentally been removed?
