Shoddy grass cutting, 20th April
My expectations of the grass cutting on the verges last week should be it looks recently cut.... This time was there any point? It was cut on the highest setting which has literally taken of a cm? It's terrible that the grass is being cut and the contractor is literally just skimming, surely it's worth cutting right back short as it will be a few months until it's cut again?

Pothole appearing by road constriction, 3rd April
This pothole appears every year in the same place. Perhaps you can manage a permanent fix for once. It's not large yet, but it will be. It's in that great space by the road constriction that means it catches most cars.

Large potholes at the roundabout at the junction of Tring Road and Overdown Road Tilehurst Reading, 3rd April
The raised up mini roundabout at the junction of Tring road on Overdown road Tilehurst has large potholes around it which vehicle's tyres are kicking up stone's which can damage car's windscreens and cause an accident. In November 2023 this West Berkshire council had the raised up circle and the surrounding lines leading up to the junction painted white. This involved the area being closed off for several hrs and involving several highway maintenance vehicles and approximately 12 workers. This West Berkshire council is waisting council tax payers money in allowing work to be carried out on painting the junctions but not repairing the potholes prior to painting. The workers painted over the potholes without filling them in

Massive pothole on bus/stop drop kerb area, 5th March
There are lots of problems here and I've been getting increasingly concerned about public safety. This pothole by the bus stop is getting bigger and bigger, the google streetview picture attached even has it visible in 2019. It's much larger now and is causing a hazard for pedestrians crossing with buggies/wheelchairs at this dropped kerb. I've seen a child almost pitched out of a buggy into the road because of it.
This is not the only problem. It is a very well-used road crossing point for children and parents at school run time from the alley that runs parallel to Kernham Drive to the alley into Condor Close, and would probably benefit from a zebra crossing here. Also, because lots of parents from Brookfields park on the south side of this stretch of road, from Sage Road up to the bus stop, it is extremely difficult to see traffic coming when you are on the path and about to cross the road. I have also witnessed an old lady from the retirement properties on Condor Close almost getting run over here because she stepped out from behind a parked car to cross and didn't see the car coming at her (from the Oxford road direction) on the wrong side of the road. These parked cars are also parking opposite the junction with Kernham Drive which I'm sure is illegal. Please please can you do something to make this area safer before there is a serious accident? Thank you!
