Deep potholes opening up on side of road, 28th February
On the northbound side of the road just in from the junction a number of potholes have opened up and are getting progressively deeper and larger on the side of the road due to the volume of traffic with the lifting bridge out of order on the A340. These are becoming unavoidable when traffic is queuing at the traffic lights on the other side of the road.

Two potholes that are difficult to avoid, 28th February
Two potholes on the southbound side that with the recent bad weather are growing in size and depth. With the unkept branches on the side of the road it's now a choice of a) hitting the overground branches with the left of the car causing scratches to the paintwork b) hitting the potholes with the right hand wheels causing damage to the suspension c) moving across onto the oncoming side of the road which is potentially dangerous.

Pothole and collapsed drain, 26th February
A large area of road surface has left a pothole which needs repairing and with the road closed atm, it would be the ideal time to do it....also there is a collapsed drain that has been like it for years and when it rains the road floods...again with the road closed it is the perfect time to dig up the road and fix the problem...

Two potholes have developed with the increased traffic on the diversion route. The first one is opposite the temp traffic lights and is getting bigger by the day. It's unmissable and you end up hitting it...needs fixing to save a broken wheel that would then cause a blocked road...equally there is a second pothole less than 10m away that is also growing day by day which the increase in traffic.

Pothole on edge of road opposite temp traffic lights, 22nd February
There is a pothole developing on the edge of the road opposite the temp traffic lights at the A340 end of Frouds Lane...the hole is now big enough to cause your wheel to drop into it...and can't be avoided because of the way the road narrows due to the temp traffic lights...rather than ignore it and just say it isn't deep enough...could you proactively repair it to save any damage to cars which if they then get stuck in Frouds Lane will cause issues with traffic flow...

Temporary Traffic lights causing long delays both ways, 9th January
The temporary traffic lights that were placed there yesterday (8.1.2024) appear to be doing nothing and are causing ridiculous delays - a 20 minute journey was an hour and 10 minutes yesterday and an hour this morning - prior to rush hour. Please review whether they are a required or can be adjusted - as there isnt any roadworks I would like to know why they are there.

Trees / foliage narrowing road, 29th August
Trees and foliage are growing out beyond and covering the road curb on north bound side. This narrows the road so that the regular HGV traffic, to avoid hitting and breaking their nearside mirrors are moving further towards the middle and sometimes their offside crosses the middle. This perilously close to car traffic on the other side often requiring avoidance and a move towards the curb. It is becoming increasingly frequent and may eventually lead to an HGV offside hitting a cars offside. The trees need to be properly cut back from the curb and road edge.
