Roadworks are coming loose, trench opening, 30th April
Playhatch Road, heading towards A4155, towards the centre of the road, before the entrance to the gravel pits - a previous tench for roadworks was filled, but the filling is coming loose, making a trench/hole. I think it was repaired last year, but that is happening again. It got bad last year before the repair.

At the entrance to Grosvenor Road, before the private road begins at the gates, left hand side, turning in from the A4155, a pothole or similar, wide and holding standing water, causes cars to jolt. Bad for cyclists.

After new ditches were dug to remove flood water that had been in place for four months, huge potholes were revealed. They are causing ££ damage to vehicles

Dangerous parking, 28th April
Cars parking either side of the junction in rossendale road making it dangerous as cars turning in to rossendale are met with cars exiting and nowhere to go. Also some of the cars are parking here and commuting in to town everyday, double yellow lines needed.

Damaged tree/bush hanging into carriage way with thick branch right at HGV mirror height. Have to go onto chevrons to avoid, saw broken HGV mirror casing in road this week. Direction from Playhatch to Shiplake, nearside, by third telegraph pole past The Flowing Spring.

Flooding due to blocked drain, 28th April
Every time it rains, this drain and the one by the French Horn back up and cause flooding across the road. The Thames has dropped substantially, therefore cannot be the cause of the flooding. Having been flooded earlier this year, it's likely this drain and the one by the French Horn have filled with silt and debris and need cleaning out. Urgent action is needed to keep this crossing over the Thames in use.

The road between The French Horn and Sonning Eye has fallen into a very bad state, with numerous potholes, to the point where it has become dangerous. This road needs to be resurfaced at the earliest possible opportunity.
