Traffic into and out of Thorney Close, 1st March
I have reported on this before and nothing really has changed. There is a high volume of traffic into and out of Thorney Close most evenings due to dance classes being held at number 10. This is made worse by the fact that the junction of Thorney Close is already tight due to parked cars opposite the junction. The entrance to Thorney Close is narrow and barely wide enough for two cars so even if you manage to get to the junction there will usually be someone coming out and you would have to reverse 200 yards back up the road. This is not acceptable. Additionally, the owners of the vehicles that park outside of the property at number 10 seem to think that it is perfectly acceptable to block access for residents. Is this even a legitimate business? I would be interested to know if they are even paying tax as they have a history of illegal behaviour including cutting down a tree that I was advised by The Forestry Commission would be illegal due to the tree being on council land and over a certain size.
