Expansive pothole outside our property, approx 24” x 12” x 6” deep, 14th April
This pothole (amongst others) is getting deeper and wider due to the large vehicles, including the buses. It started when the ditch opposite our property was dug out. Men at work signs were put out “unofficially” by the person digging the ditch. This meant all vehicles were having to drive over our grass verge and the edge of the road, hence causing the pothole. The previous potholes were only filled in some months prior to the current ones. This is not the only one that needs addressing, I know a neighbour has contacted you about the potholes further along the lane. Due to there being no street lighting down our lane, these holes are a danger to the public when walking down the lane at night. They have been there some months and desperately need filling before someone gets hurt or a vehicle damages and or loses a wheel or worse.

There is a a lot of rain water that isn’t draining away, 26th February
The ditches around the edge of Glaston hill road are over flowing and the road is covered in water right outside the school and village hall so hard to access the school with our children with them getting really wet feet. This is now coming in off the road and flooding the village hall car park too. This has been going on for over a week, and on and off when it rains for months. We run a childcare setting from the village hall so we are constantly struggling with child’s wet feet! The ditches look like they need emptying or clearing out so the water can flow
