Road sign obstructing views onto A33, 24th March
At the potters lane junction onto A33. The road traffic sign shown in the photo is positioned so that we can’t safely pull out onto the A33. We daily have to pull out onto A33 with our tractors and have to edge out. If we have a loader on the front we have to hold it up in the air in order to close enough to see around the sign, which is dangerous for us and traffic on the road. If possible could it be moved slightly further back to the hedge.

Road floods, 12th March
There is an area along Rotherwick Lane that frequently floods all across the road after it rains. We have also noticed blocked drains elsewhere along this road, which will make this worse. Some drain unblocking along this whole road would be very helpful to reduce this problem.

Many large potholes, 12th March
There are many potholes and seriously damaged verges/passing places along this single track road between Rotherwick Lane and Turgis Green. Some are so bad that I have grounded my car in the holes. These need urgent attention and we note that this road is due to be closed for several days starting this week so this would be a good opportunity to carry out these repairs.

3 lots of fly tipping on bottle lane, 5th February
There are 3 lots of fly tipping rubbish on Bottle Lane between Thackhams Farm and the junction with Bar Lane. (1) Since Saturday 4th Feb about 300m west of Thackhams a pile of what looks like insulating material - possibly needs to be dealt with as hazardous and may be a public health risk. (2) For about 2 weeks, on the bend 200m further west (300m south of Black Nest) about 6 plastic bin bags - rats have been seen here. (3) Since Saturday 4th Feb, about halfway between Goodchilds Farm and the junction with Bar Lane, another pile of plastic bin bags - again rats have been seen here. All of these dumps are potential risks given the materials and rats.

20 plus Very Bad Potholes, 2nd February
Turgis Green Lane is tiny lane and has been totally destroyed because of continued nearby 2-3 months of roadworks. The lane is now the only access to the village of Hartley Wespall and beyond to Rothwerick etc, due to Church Lane (the main road into the area) being totally closed for 2 months for road works. One lady (with young children in the car)got her car stuck in such a bad pothole / road collapse that she had to get her car towed out. It is a nightmare.
