Metal panels of the bridge safety barrier have come loose. It looks like cable ties from a previous repair have been cut. This is the bridge over the A34 as indicated.

Nothbound slip road ends abruptly with large pot holes and dangerous road surface, resulting in a tyre blow out and damaged wheel., 17th June
The slip roads on the A34 are far too short and dangerous. Looking at the state of the road in this location it is clear I am not the only person to experience this problem.

A34 - southbound. Exit marker sign knocked over, 27th March
The first exit marker sign (of three) has been hit and is not visible. Particularly hazardous as this is a very short exit slip road and motorists need all the warning they can get - especially when HGVs are labouring uphill in the LH lane.
Reported several weeks ago, some time after it was first noticed. Still awaiting attention.

Numerous large potholes along this road, 16th March
Along this road there are numerous potholes which are quite dangerous and is causing damage to my car. It's along Lambourn Road, Newbury, RG20 8BN which leads up to the A34 overhead bypass bridge.

Drainage blocked on bridge, 19th January
The bridge on the A4 Bath Road, Speen, over the A34, Newbury bypass is drained of surface water by means of continuous gratings along both sides of the carriageway. Over the years, large quantities of weeds have self seeded and grown out of the gratings, and are partially blocking them. Whilst the drainage is still partially effective, I am concerned that under prolonged torrential rainfall, the road surface could be flooded and cause danger to traffic and pedestrians on the bridge. The speed limit is 60 mph here. Also, under freezing conditions, the film of trapped water could freeze, and become a skating ring, with implications of traffic skidding out of control. Please can you ensure that regular maintenance is in place to enable effective surface water drainage exists into the future.
