Blocked ditch and culvert, 26th January
At the southern end of Wellhouse Lane on the NW side of the road the roadside ditch is choked and at least two sections of culvert joining sections of ditch are partially or in one case totally blocked. Recently a Flood warning sign has been placed to warn of the water almost continually flooding across the highway which will rapidly destroy the highway surface. A half hearted attempt at ditch clearing has been made recently but the job needs full ditch restoration and most importantly culvert cleaning along the full length of the ditch as this has been an issue for at least two years and probably more. Thank you.

When exiting Well House Lane to turn right towards Hermitage the view to the left is obstructed by a beech hedge forcing drivers have to pull out into the the road before being able to see if there is any traffic approaching from the left leaving them vulnerable to fast traffic from the right. Roadside vegetation obstructing visability, 30th June
Due to overgrown shrubbery pulling out of Wellhouse Lane, south west bound, is extremly dangerous. Turning right towards Hermitage one has to pull out into the path of east bound traffic coming from Hermitage before one can see if there is any traffic coming from Bucklebury along Marlston Road westbound, often at quite high speed for the road conditions. Please communicate with the owner of the land and get them to cut back significantly the offending growth or use your statutary powers to carry out the work and recharge the owner, before a serious accident occurs. This is an urgent need.

Pothole in Bucklebury Alley, 20th April
Bad potholes in lane from house Solina up to the beginning of the Byway. This is a single track road and, in getting out of the way of a moving vehicle, I stumbled into one of these holes. I have sprained my ankle & twisted my back. The road has several bad holes and, at one point, is badly jumped in the middle. This has scraped the underside of my car many times. Bucklebury Alley has been repaired in the past but all repairs stopped at house Solina and none of the problems between there & the Byway have ever been addressed. I shall now have to pay to see an Osteopath to treat my back & my Bank Holiday weekend has been spoiled because I am now in pain
