All the Newbury Showground Event traffic is blocking the junction access on all slip roads to the roundabout. It hs taken 1 hour to exit the M4 & negotiate our way onto the roundabout.

Sunken repair accross all road, 7th February
Just east of the enterance of Priors court school there is a previous repair for a pipe or cable that was laid under the road. This repair has sunk creating a trench accross the road causing a significant bump when driving over it.

Lights green on work exit when no vehicles, 18th January
The works exit lights keep going green on every sequence. Regardless, even when no vehicles are triggering the lights. It has been happening for several days now. This has happened before on the works exit but was temporarily fixed. It causes huge issues on J13 roundabout. Please fix a.s.a.p.

Pothole at the roundabout heading west from A34 to M4, 9th January
There is a round pothole (maybe 50 cms wide) in the traffic lane at the roundabout where vehicles travelling north on the A34 join the roundabout to head west onto the M4. Hard to judge depth as it's not possible to stop but I'd suggest sufficient to cause damage to tyres. Perhaps 10 - 15 cms deep.

Deep pothole, 6th January
Deep pothole just after traffic lights on round-about at Cheiveley from A34 and heading onto M4 West - this is in far left lane. Concerned this is damaging tyres and then cars entering a 70mph zone.

Article on road punctured tyre, 27th November
On 19 November on east bound carriageway, one of our tyres was punctured in the middle of the tread by three holes. It flattened very quickly. We had to call RAC as no spare on Mini Countryman. The new tyre with call out on a Sunday cost us £185.00 Are we due compensation?

Large dip in the road, 2nd October
There is a large dip on the A34 going south. The dip is very near the large brown sign for Newbury show ground. The dip causes vehicles to stumble badly. Sorry I cannot pinpoint on the map. I did my best

Sign blocked by vegitation, 28th September
Approaching the sign to show left turn on to A34 slip road heading south is completely obscured by vegetation. You can’t see the sign until it’s too late and then you’ve missed the turning. Request for tree preservation order, 16th September
Weeping Willow tree which is beautiful and is well cared for. The willow is located in the centre of Hermitage Village next to where the old telephone box used to be and in the corner of the Fox Inn car park. It provides a really unique centrepiece/backdrop/landmark to Hermitage and would be a great loss should any future development occur. I believe this tree should be subject to TPO.
