Insufficient Road Markings, 6th June

Tue, 06 Jun 2023 15:53:01 +0100
53.613584 -3.019826

On the Liverpool Road/Waterloo Road roundabout there are 2 faded and insufficient road markings that say 'Keep Clear'. I've attached some pictures taken on 06/06/2023. Unfortunately in practice they do not achieve their intended purpose, as drivers only keep clear where the floor marking text is and not the bit between floor markings. The preferred option here would be a yellow box junction of an improved larger 'keep clear' box. What occurs in practice is a standstill at peak times with traffic not flowing as intended. Or if traffic is flowing vehicles are only doing so by taking risks and squeezing through gaps, with pedestrians crossing the road not expecting cars to appear due to them perceiving they're all stationary.

Cracked uneven paving stones, 30th May

Tue, 30 May 2023 23:14:51 +0100
53.601967 -3.032831

I have recently moved into the 2 Limont Road Ainsdale. I have noticed that a lot of the paving outside of my address is very old, cracked and uneven which is likely to cause myself or another member of the public to trip slip or fall. This could have a significant impact on you in these circumstances through claims and court hearings should anyone be injured. I would like this to be brought to your attention and for the pavement to be repaired, I would suggest the flags being removed and tarmac to replace. Please let me know if you would like any more information. Thanks Dan

Dangerously parked car, 17th April

Mon, 17 Apr 2023 11:48:59 +0100
53.63201 -3.025438

This red car is there almost every day on one side or the other of the entrance gates to Royal Park. It causes exiting resident drivers to enter in the centre of the road just before a very busy traffic light junction. I have had to swerve to avoid oncoming traffic speeding to make the lights on more than one occasion. Isn’t helped that the property opposite Royal Park entrance chooses to road park rather than use their drive, making the exit a double hazard because of this inconsiderate motorist. Please help it’s only a matter of time before there is a collision.

Dangerous & inconsiderate parking, 15th April

Sat, 15 Apr 2023 21:44:20 +0100
53.631991 -3.025739

In the past 3-4 weeks, a car has been parking on the pavement at the exit / entrance to the Royal Park development. It obstructs the view of the road for residents exiting and is dangerous because it is a few feet from traffic lights and a bus stop. Residents sometimes have to be quite far onto the road to see past it and on several occasions there have been near accidents because cars are crossing over the lights at speed. It is also impossible to get out if the no 15 bus is dropping off or picking up passengers. There is ample marked parking on the other side of the lights on Grosvenor Road so there is no reason (other than laziness and / or stupidity) for someone to park in such an awkward spot.
