Selling cars from a bus lay by, 12th May
A gentleman is selling cars from the bus layby at the junction of Millenium Way and Blackburn Rd., PR6 8LH to your planning office and also Lancashire Highways without success.
I understand this contravenes the Clean Streets Act and would be obliged if someone can investigate the matter as there are now some 6-8 cars stored at this location and I believe more at Whins Lane.

Traffic Signs Obscured and not illuminated, 9th November
On the west bound approach to Higher Wheelton village there are two 30mph illuminated advisory signs followed by one vehicle activated flashing 30mph sign. The advisory's are obscured by overgrowth, non illuminated and unclean. The VA sign does not flash when activated and also obscured.

Inconsiderate/pavement parking. Queensway. PR6 8QQ, 18th August
Frequent parking issues. ie. Cars on pavement blocking footpaths and blocking my drive making it difficult to either use the footpaths or access my drive. I have tried to ask people to be more considerate but am usually greeted by verbal abuse and on the odd occasion threats to myself or my vehicle.

Overgrown and dangerous, 16th July
The footpath is overgrown has not been maintained in at least 8-10 years and is dangerous to use , causing pedestrians to step into the carriageway at numerous points ! With LGV,S illegaly using this part of the A 674 it has become a fatality waiting to happen !

Flooding during heavy rain, 6th October
My property has been in danger of flooding both through ventilation bricks and the front door directly into my living room on several occasions since July from ground water flowing off the field down the Public Footpath behind my property. I have already contacted the Environment Agency and Chorley Borough Council who have informed me that Lancashire County Council is responsible for the provision of sandbags to protect my home. Fortunately I had a couple of sandbags but if I had not been at home and had the assistance of my neighbours my house would have been flooded on at least 2 occasions. Can you provide me with enough sandbags to protect the front of the house from flooding over the pavement. Also can you please help me to overcome this problem in the future.

Broken manhole cover on Dick Lane Brinscall. The lane has no footpath or lighting the broken grid is just after the bench in a passing area right hand side if heading towards Brinscall Hall
