Bins and full bin bags left out on the street, 14th April

Sun, 14 Apr 2024 13:38:59 +0100

Tennants from the apartment building leaving the bin bags on the street. This week was a grey bin collection week, nobody took the rubbish. We pay now nearly £180 a month for Council Tax to live next to a Council building where nobody cares about the litter on the street. This issue was reported countless times, nothing happens.

This vehicle has been abandoned since November 2023. It has a flat front driver's side tyre and mold all over the interior. It is impeding access to houses along Church road and has been parked outside somebody's house despite ample room to park. Church road has become a frequent dumping ground for vehicles despite there being a church and school on the road that require regular access.

Section of lights not working at junction 1, 30th October

Mon, 30 Oct 2023 13:17:14 +0000
53.716657 -2.666048

Thank you for your previous response, copied below, however these lights don’t seem to fall into that category. It is a section approximately 500m long, bounded on both sides by working lights and covers a stretch of road where two lanes merge into one at the end of the motorway and the westbound slip road of junction 1 also merges, so should be lit for safety reasons. Previously reported response. The M65 is mainly unlit to help us support the aims of the Department for Transport to reduce carbon emissions by switching off lighting on carefully selected stretches of motorway. Sites have been chosen where there is a good safety record.
