Building rubble being piled high in woodland, 21st October
This small patch of woodland is being eroded by piles of builder’s rubble. We don’t know who owns the land but it can’t be good for the environment to have so much waste dumped in this way.

Severe flooding every time it rains, 21st October
For the last 5 years or more we always have to drive through deep running water on Mill Lane. It seems to be coming from the farmland - why isn’t anyone doing anything about it? It’s supposed to be a cycleway and is a route for us to take the children to school, but it’s dangerous in winter.

Many potholes and edge of road crummbling away., 24th February
From the flag I have inserted to a point northwards to Mill Hill Farm the road surface is dotted with pot holes, the road surface is breaking away and the edge of the road is breaking away in several places. The road surface is particularly bad at the entrance to Cross House Farm. It is a wide entrance but if a line is taken from one side of the edge of Mill Lane through the farm entrance to the edge of Mill Lane at the other side it is clear that although a lot of damage is on the farm road a large proportion of the damage is on Mill Lane so is the council's responsibility.

Regular late night car parking, litter and road-racing, 24th January
For at least the last year, this large field gateway appears to be a meeting point for those wanting to meet up - to throw their fast food rubbish out of their cars before racing around the local lanes. Most prevalent between 11pm and 3am most weekends and some weekday evenings. Mill Lane, Curwen Lane, Syke House Lane, Langley Lane, Button Street and Silk Mill Lane are the usual routes - to and from the lanes around Beacon Fell.

Large tree on south side of Curwen Lane is leaning over further every day. It is likely to fall soon and block the road. Please note that these trees along the lane have a preservation order on them - but this one does need felling before it lands on something/someone.

Builders Waste tipped, 24th January
For the last 6 months or more, the small woodland area at the junction of Curwen Lane and Mill Lane has been fly-tipped regularly with building waste and soil at every point where access is possible. This has destroyed a valuable wildlife corridor. The piles of soil are so big, that when it rains (every day) the soil obstructs the road. A nightmare for cyclists and pedestrians to use. Apart from the damage to a protected woodland area (Preston Local Plan), it's also a complete eyesore and potential health hazard.

Road surface breaking up, 24th January
The road surface is breaking up across the road just before you get to Inglewhite. It's always wet here (even in summer) and the drains do not appear to be working. A number of ineffective patching repairs have been undertaken - but they quickly fail, and the broken chunks just add to the hazard. Heavy goods vehicles and heavy farm traffic regularly drive this road at speed, and the road has failed. Please fix this.
