This section of road is very badly maintained- I now refuse to let my children cycle here as it is so bumpy with all the various potholes - it affects the section from the start of Lancaster Avenue to the first corner.

First part of the road is deteriorating again, 25th March
The road surface on the first straight needs multiple fixes, the top half of the road suffers due to HGV traffic and the second part past the farm gates repair has become poorly affected and is hard to avoid vehicle damage by the roughness of the road

Large pothole and loose large stones & gravel at end of Skitham lane, 13th August
This pothole on the edge of the Give way markings (faded) has been here for a while but is now getting larger and wider with subsurface stone being ripped out by tyres and scattered about with loose gravel everywhere. Especially hazardous for 2 wheeled users because of cornering to turn off onto Skitham Lane NEEDS A PROPER PATCH not just a fill-in

The lighting in this area is not good enough it is also difficult to get from barrows lane East using walking aids. Th dog poo bin is not in a good position as you have walk across a grassed area to use it..
