Drainage opened, risk of falling into drain, 26th April
Grass works have been completed today on the field at elm grove. It would appear that the drainage and concrete has been hit by the tractor, causing the concrete to come away and break and the cover rotate, leaving a gap for dogs and humans to trip / fall. difficult to move back in position but will need new concrete to fix most likely

Tarmac come away from manhole, 26th April
Problem has been getting worse for 3-4 months now - pothole is getting bigger creating a hazard for drivers using the road. Plus evidently the manhole will collapse.

Water always flowing, 26th April
There is a water leak or a under ground spring on this section of route 23 which bubbles up and then the water runs on and across the route even in dry weather periods, this makes the section muddy and wet for all sustainable users , and very difficult for wheelchairs use , it’s been a on going issue for years , a drainage pipe needs installing or gravel trench

Inconsiderate parking causing threat to pedestrians and limiting access to emergency vehicles, 25th April
There has been a recent increase in parking at and near the entrance to Alvington Road. Firstly this obstructs the visibility of vehicles entering and leaving onto Calbourne Road and gives pedestrians nowhere to go. Wide vehicles parking opposite the lamppost make the road impassable and require a search for the drivers to move. This was a disabled place that was used by a very small car, now it is a popular place even for large vans. Other vehicles have been parking on the south side of the road by the lamppost making a chicane, again impossible for delivery lorries and emergency vehicles to get past. Vehicles entering Alvington Road from the Close have reduced visibility and face vehicles travelling on the wrong side of the road to avoid the parked vehicles. There are no pavements on this stretch of road and pedestrians are exposed to the unpredictable decisions of drivers who cannot see if the road ahead is clear.
