Cars being parked in front of subway, 8th April
This is supposed to be a cul de sac but cars are being parked alongside the subway entrance. This makes turning very difficult and is blocking an entrance so people with mobility vehicles and bicycles have difficulty accessing subway. An emergency vehicle would never get through. We need yellow lines or permit parking down this road please. Cul de sacs should have room to turn cars round

McDonald’s rubbish, 25th March
I work on Southern cross industrial estate where Bognor McDonald’s is located locals around the area and myself are getting fed up of seeing the mess and disregard for the environment from McDonald’s and its customers . Whilst it’s their customers littering McDonald’s surely has a duty of care to ensure they are not having a negative impact on the local environment.
The rubbish pictured is just 1 nights worth and I regularly clear it up to keep the local areas tidy but McDonald’s definitely need to ensure more waste bins are provided maybe not just on their own land but also where customers park up and eat around the Industrial estate .
More regular litter picking is needed and better waste control measure
Many thanks

Poor condition of footbridge - Railway ID: BBR: 1146A - PO22 8AE, 31st January
Dear Sir or Madam
We have had a complaint about this footbridge from a member of the public, and as the below shows, this is the responsibility of the local authority to fix. Regards, John
The separate wearing surface is maintainable by the highway authority (Hounslow council). Section 116 of the Transport Act 1968 https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/73/section/116 absolved the railway company from any further liability to maintain public highway surfaces on bridges over railways. It made it mandatory on the appropriate Highway Authority to assume that responsibility at their expense without any cost to the railway. The term ‘highway bridge’ includes public footbridges. Also, section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 imposes a duty on Highway Authorities to maintain highways at public expense. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1980/66/section/41 .

Flytipping on a footpath, 29th January
Your map is not detailed enough to show the exact location. It is a footpath that leads form the cricket field to the footbridge over the railway. It always has rubbish on it (and mud when it has been raining) but now the rubbish is reaching fly tipping levels. I have reported it before and no action has been taken.
