Several potholes on a bend, 22nd April
Long term road surface break up here. The damage is on the inside of a LH bend. Drivers who know about the problem tend to move towards the centre of the road to avoid car damage. Those who don't know may suffer car damage. In any event I suggest urgent rectification to reduce chances of an accident or damage to vehicles. Thanks

Repeated reopening of poorly repaired potholes, 5th April
I have previously suffered vehicle damage at this location, in respect of which CDC denied responsibility. CDC insisted that the potholes have been repaired but this has been done so poorly that they repeatedly reopen, as per these photos taken today.

2 ever expanding pot holes, 20th March
Two potholes which are getting deeper and longer. They have been badly filled over the past months and are now causing cars etc to veer out into oncoming traffic on blind bend. This situation needs proper attention and not just a bucket full of bitumen thrown in as in the past.

Flat drain cover fractured, 17th February
The iron work on this flat manhole covering has progressively fractured and is now broken in several places and is slowly sinking into manhole. Buses and lorries as well as heavy traffic use this route and it will not be long before it collapses and as there is no street lighting this will result in a possible serious incident.

12 inches of water and some drains not taking water down, 25th October
Three parts of Howard avenue are submerged by up to 12 inches of waters. Several drains are not working and manhole covers have risen. Tarmac bubbling. Drainage is blocked or broken. Cars are getting stuck and people a houses are flooding.

Whole road is terrible, 12th April
Literally from start to finish this road is the worst. It’s probably about a 200 metre section that needs resurfacing, even the guys that keep having to come and fill it are telling us it’s only making it worse. I’m a civil engineer working on the roads around Hampshire so it’s not as if I’m just coming in not knowing what I’m talking about. The residents down the road were told it was going to be resurfaced when the northfield development was finished, that was nearly 10 years ago now

Large deep pot holes again developing., 11th March
This section of road is continually producing large deep potholes ( one of which is now very deep) There are now the usual two with another one on the opposite side now developing. Any work done seems to be just a bucketful of tarmac thrown in which soon disintegrates due to the numerous buses and heavy lorries that travel over this point as well as the usual car traffic. These repairs only last at most just over a month or two and this section of the road now needs proper attention and repair.
