Overgrown Cycle Path, 29th June
Hello,
A week ago, Wednesday (21st June) I led a bike ride which tried to use NCN 288 (formerly signed as RCN 88) from Pagham Harbour going north. The part going north from Rookery Lane, map reference SZ979860 to SZ986862, is almost impassable with overgrown brambles and other vegetation making cycling very difficult and hazardous, on what is a very narrow path anyway, with very little allowance for overgrown bushes and grass. Urgent action is required to return what is normally a great cycle route to a useable and safe state.
Regards
Robert Sebley

Small lorry left on footpath for over a week, 7th April
This is a dangerous section of road near the junction of the B2145. A danger not only to pedestrians but also to traffic joining the B2201 with speeds invariably above 40mph having to swerve round this vehicle, facing oncoming traffic. I appreciate this is not a council footpath, but is used by many local people going to work and a local shop/garage

Major drainage grid has serious damage around it, 7th February
The tarmac surrounding the drainage grid has been deteriorating over some months, the edges of the metal grid are exposed and the gap between this and the edge of tarmac is sufficiently wide to cause damage to motorcycle wheels and potentially a fatal accident. This corner on the Selsey Road is dangerous enough. It is only obviously significant once upon it so I am very concerned that an unwitting rider may hit into it. A cyclist would need to swerve significantly to avoid it. I have not been able to stop and photograph as it has not safe to do so.

Damaged and cracked road surface on bend outside Anchor Pub, 16th April
The road surface outside the Anchor Pub on the B2145 has a badly damaged area that is emitting from a water main access cover, which is leading to numerous large cracks within the road itself. Has been here for sometime now and will no doubt worsen with increased traffic flow during busy holiday periods.
