2 Dropped manholes and several potholes, 5th March
As above the existing potholes are now craters and the dropped manhole covers have got worse, they are all between the speed limit flashing sign, outside Hallidays and opposite the pub, can’t miss them. Very hazardous as a cyclist let alone a vehicle driver.

Upright fridge-freezer dumped by No Fly Tipping sign, 28th February
New flytip in popular place for such actively due to secluded* wooded lane.
Of note: *only two restricted access points to lane north & south, hence popularity. But this factor also ideal candidate for more permanent access camera montoring if taken seriously versus cost of Council collection, in my view.

Emergency access gate security chain severed, 13th February
North side A27 Emergency access/exit gate security chain severed but made to look secure. often weekly gate left open as someone uses it to access A27 from Hambrook hill (North) or visa versa. kids and dogs and horse loose could wander onto A27 carriageway and cause major incident.. this keeps getting ignored. I will be the first to be interviewed by the media when it happens

Been there for a few months, each is 2-4 inches deep and between 1 and 2 feet wide. To avoid you have to go onto the other side of the road round a blind bend.

In emergency area there is a slope/bank of earth by the hedge/trees behind it is a wheel with tyre fitted and some other small rubbish obviously thrown there

A27 Emergency gate securing lock n chain, 6th January
The Emergency gate from the A27 east bound to Hambrook hill (North) has a chain and lock fitted, the chain has been cut by what ever means. this is allowing People in vans and cars to use the emergency gate as a cut through. they open it and drive through leaving it open for children to wander out onto or by the A27 or when animals such as Horses or dogs can wander out onto the A27 etc. The gate is never closed by the passer through driver. my field is very near and at least once a fortnight i have to close it dare say other do too. IT IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE that has been reported before. It requires the lock to be opened and refitted with the chain that is remaining.

Huge craters in pull in area, 3rd January
As above, Extremley deep craters in the pull in area coming back from Chichester to westbourne area, would rip the underside of any vehicle away, death trap for cyclist, all it needs is either some old hardcore or pulling the existing gravel/hardcore over, wouldn’t cost anything that way. We have some broken pavings and bricks that you are welcome to have to fill some of this if you want them.
