Terrible road surface, 10th April
Cheriton road surface is terrible, it has lots of pot holes/ lines of missing tarmac. When cars are parked and as a cyclist, you cycle past them, you are perfectly in line with all of the tarmac scrape lines and it is dangerous (one because it could send you flying and secondly we cycle further out which is really onto the other side of the road). The road has been awful for a long time and is a fairly busy road being the ONLY access road to a whole housing estate.

Speed humps degrading, 5th April
A repair was carried out to one of the three speed humps which are in a row, but the rest have now degraded and can catch a tyre, can be dangerous for two wheeled vehicles and are not fit for purpose. They need rebuilding with the correct materials

No safe crossing for pedestrians during works, 6th March
Footpath closed at The castle No safe crossing point provided for pedestrians exiting from Gosport Marina boatyard public footpath or that side of pavement
Yet in Portsmouth esplanade works safe pedestrian crossings are provided at key points.
The pavement ends on a bend and it is difficult to safely cross the road - a basic risk assessment should identify the risks to pedestrians caused by these development works and simple safe crossing provided for pedestrians to mitigate that risk

Uneven road surface, 19th February
Pothole, sunken road in middle of the t junction exiting Anne's hill junction, particularly bad turning right out going over to alverstoke. If you time this right you could do it 1st march when you close the road for to the collapsed drain!
