This is dangerous. It’s been marked for repair. My grandson had to brake to avoid this hole on his motorcycle tonight causing him to skid and drop his bike. He is uninjured on this occasion

Flooded underpass, 11th March
The underpass beneath the A27 floods regularly. It’s been like this for about 10 years and nothing is ever done. Hundreds of people use the underpass daily, including children going to school. When it cannot be used it is necessary to make a significant diversion. Our local councillors tell me that it’s a National Highways responsibility.

Pavements blocked by hedges, 28th February
These hedges are being cultivated to grow over the pavement rather than in the residents' gardens. These reduce the width of the available to one foot in several places. This is after a fresh cut, so it will get worse over the next few weeks. It is not just one property but many. Please can you advise these residents to cut these hedges back, and start to grow them on their own proprty instead, so that we don't have to walk in the road or in the mud.

Full bin, and dumped freezer, 27th February
This green bin, which says it is a compost bin on the front, is full with all sorts of rubbish and poo bags, The bin is also split at the sides.This bin has not been emptied for a very long time, and this freezer has been dumped there for months. To be honest, as the bin is split on the sides, the whole thing could be taken away.

Hedge encroaching to main road, 7th February
The hedge on the left hand side of the road as you head through the village towards the church and beyond, needs cutting back, it’s a very tight, 2 bends and bad enough now let alone when it all buds out, what with lorry’s or bigger vehicles coming onto opposite lane to make it round as one has to slow right down to 20mph. Could this be cut back for visibility and safety. Thank you.

Anti-pigeon netting and lighting. A27 Bridge over the B2148 – North St, Emsworth, 5th February
Please advise what plans you have to replace the netting under the A27 road bridge where it crosses the B2148 (North St, Emsworth). The pigeon infestation is rapidly increasing since this netting was removed. Secondly, what plans do you have for repairing the lighting under this bridge. It is currently a hazardous area for pedestrians after dark. I see the lighting issue was reported a while back, but the work is still outstanding. I look forward to hearing from you.
