Very noisy manhole cover first reported July 2019, 8th January
This very noisy MH was first reported last July; I have reported it many times since. The last time I had a reply on 15 11 19 was to inform if it had not been seen to in 4 weeks to report again. STILL nothing has been done . The original report 191245538 tracking shows no fault ! This not the case and it is getting worse, heavy traffic to N. Ferrers - sounds like gunfire.

Over grown shrubs/trees, 28th April
There are shrubs and trees overgrowing the wall and obstructing the pavement. Unless you are under three feet tall you cannot walk up Torr Hill on the pavement. You have to walk in the road. This is extremely dangerous as you have to go around parked cars. The shrubs have been causing a problem for over a year. Not sure of ownership or responsibility for the pruning.

Commandeering public parking spaces at the top of Tor Hill, 14th June
There are three parking spaces that do no have any parking restrictions on them. The purpose of these parking spaces is intended for the local population to park safely when using the local shops, cafe and Ford room and not to be commandeered by residents living nearby. These three bottom parking spaces should not be for permanent use, there needs to be parking restrictions put in place of 1 to 2 hours only in any 24 hour period. This will then leave these parking spaces available to the local population of Yealmpton, and not become private parking spaces for the selfish nearby residents.

Non Standard Traffic Mirror, 14th June
When we purchased our property there was a mirror in the bottom corner of our property. This mirror provides visibility of oncoming traffic for the residents of Chapel Road. This mirror is a non standard mirror and is an eyesore on my property. The mirror is not mentioned in my deeds and as I am the only one that has been maintaining/cleaning it over the past four years, who does it actually belong to? I would like permission to remove the mirror and for highways to provide two more standard circular mirrors attached to the telegraph pole opposite Chapel Road and not on my property. The present broken and ugly mirror looks to be in a no mans land area but it is not. My neighbour considers that it is on my property.

Abuse of parking facilities, 15th June
The parking spaces at the village square during the day are for the use of one and all. After 6pm at night only the last three parking spaces are available for one and all. This arrangement was agreed when the old bakery site was redeveloped. However there are two cars that use the two last parking spaces permanently, thereby restricting use by anyone wishing visit the local amenities. This is causing a problem during evenings when the "ford room" is in use. As there is nowhere to park. The other evening I was lucky enough to get the 3rd parking space up, only to be blocked in by someone using the "ford room" because there was no other parking available. One car has been permanently parked for at least a month! That car used to park on the main road before the changes to the main junction. There needs to be "parking restricted to a max of 2 or 3 hours" sign put up. This is the only way that the parking spaces would be available to one and all.
