Road surface sinking, pot hole getting larger and floods road when its rained., 21st March
Due to heavy lorries up and down this small road, the road has sunk and is breaking up. It floods when it rains and has nowhere to drain. situated outside the door to Number 75 Creekside road. It has got much worse over the last 2 years.

As stated above - large potholes getting bigger by the day, seemed to be caused by heavy traffic travelling to building sites along Yealm Road.

Numerous potholes and surface damage opposite COOP, 3rd April
In this busy section used daily by delivery vehicles a section of road approx 2 meters by 1 meter is breaking down rapidly. Previous repairs done about 7 months ago have failed. Unfortunately, heavy use in this bottleneck area demands a higher quality restoration of road surface. This and many other sections of road in the Newton Ferrers area are overdue for repair and upgrade. Many are potentially dangerous.

Road seriously degraded at Junction of Newton Hill, 18th May
The road surface continues to degrade at the junction of Newton Hill with Yealm Road and is now now in a poor and dangerous state. Some of the holes cannot be seen until they are reached due to the curvature of the road. Some simply cannot be avoided. The many potholes extend over a wide area. This area is heavily used by delivery vehicles, buses and many local cars. The longer it is left the more dangerous it becomes and the more expensive full scale restoration that will then be needed will become. Please deal with this as a priority.

Blocked Road Drain out side Yealm Yacht Club, 18th May
Opposite side of road to Yealm Yacht Club on Riverside Road East is a blocked drain which partially floods raod after heavy rain there by putting wall and foundations at risk and making it difficult in the mean time for pedestrians

Numerous potholes in vicinity of Coop, 19th April
Numerous potholes and surface breakdown in vicinity of Coop at top of Newton Hill. Many have had previous repair attempts. Area at road edge by Coop over 10 metres in poor state. Worst area is on near side of road going towards church up hill on Yealm Rd. These are dangerous and potentially damaging.

Bad, jagged edge pothole, 19th April
At bottom of Wrights Lane in centre of Yealm Rd a bad, deep, ragged edge pothole. Very difficult to avoid when cars are parked. Numerous other potholes in vicinity of Coop at top of Newton Hill - see further reports. This is a degraded area.
