FIXMYSTREET IN PL7 4JD
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of PL7 4JD:
Blocked storm drain outside of 6 boringdon terrace, on boringdon road, 4th April
When it rains, this storm drain constantly backs up and floods the pavement and the entrance to our property (6 Boringdon Terrace, PL7 4EB) making impassible. Whilst it has been unblocked in the past it continues to happen which indicates potentially a much larger issue. We have also discovered a culvert than runs under our garden and property. Is it possible to understand where this culvert starts from?

Parking near junction, 14th September
This van has been parking very near to the junction of Merafield Rise leading onto Merafield Drive. This contravenes The Highway Code Waiting and Parking Rule 243 of parking opposite or within 10 metres (32 feet) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.
The position of this vehicle blocks the vision of drivers turning left onto Merafield Rise from Merafield Drive thus forcing drivers to maneuver onto the opposite side of the road onto incoming traffic. As this is also a bus route, it can also disrupt the flow of traffic especially if the bus has stopped.
This problem has been ongoing for some considerable time with various vehicles. Hopefully measures will be taken to prevent potential accidents.
