Multiple potholes across the road, 1st December
There are multiple large (and deep) potholes along this stretch of road. Numerous cars have had damage to suspension and tyres, and cyclists have fallen off in this location due to the potholes. There are often cars swerving dangerously onto the opposite side of the carriageway to avoid. My local garage has advised that I get my tracking done weekly (at £80 per car per week) due to the potholes in this location. I originally reported these at least a year ago, and the amount I am owed in compensation is growing by the week. Please could SHDC or DCC provide a reasonable explanation as to why these potholes have not been fixed. As a possible way of funding this, how about reducing the gritting schedule? Gritters were all out the other night even though temperatures didn't drop below 7 degrees.

Monumentally enormous pothole which is creating extremely hazardous driving., 8th November
The pothole has been there for a long time but is now the size of a big bucket. Such a danger to drivers onto their cars.

Inexcusable pothole, causing unnecessary flat tyre., 23rd December

Very dangerous and deep pothole, 12th July
This is a very dangerous and deep pothole on a very busy road. It is often filled with water and very difficult to see. I narrowly avoided falling off my bike after having to swerve to avoid the pothole which is in deep shadow so difficult to see. This has been repaired several times but the repair only lasts a few weeks.

Streams Crossing Road on this hill, 23rd November
Small streams cross this 'A379' road when wet, and when cold temperatures occur ice and chaos forms.
First accident today this morning. Council need to take action to prevent this. Road Salted yesterday between 8.30 to 9.00 PM, but washed away overnight leading to lorry overturning on this hill this morning 23/11/2015.

Gully requires cleaning to stop water crossing road surface., 23rd November
Road verge gully becomes clogged with debris and small stream crosses road surface instead of going across road in drain. Forms area of ice in winter cold snap and has previously caused un-necessary accidents.

Two huge potholes, 24th November
Just before the junction with the A3121 on the Sheepham hill road, right next to the house on the B road are two huge potholes. One of which managed to put such a dent into the alloy wheel on my V70 Volvo that it blew the tyre and very nearly wrote off my wheel. the damage had to be hammered out with the mechanic who did it saying there was no guarantee the wheel would not crack. This pot hole not only delayed me by making me have to change the wheel, but forced me to drive 225 miles toi London on a space saver tyre and also cost me £120.00.

Large pothole at entrance to Gees Lane. Looks like water damage and was mended two years ago but the filling has come out.

Stream running across carriageway, 26th October
Stream runs along verge and then into drain under road, but verge needs clearing as stream has started to run across the carriageway after rainfall. This becomes dangerous when icy conditions occur. Cold season approaching.
