Owner occupier parks six cars in cul de sac, 4 on road!, 15th December

Tue, 15 Dec 2015 17:53:27 +0000
50.496586 -4.128784

My neighbour opposite 7 Criss Park (my address) has at least two delapidated cars on his driveway, a further delapidated Land Rover over the entrance to his driveway and then a further 3 cars on the road. These have been parked for years now, in the same places. He drives only one of these cars and the others never move and have grass growing under them. Please note he lives alone and has a driveway that would take at least 2 cars. As far as I now the cars are legally parked but parking on our cul de sac is very limited indeed, to the point that even those with driveways complain about the lack of space. Turning is restricted because of these vehicles. The cars in question are not in use, are old and broken down, are parked poorly and cause many people problems (at least 5 neighbours have asked him to move them, including myself) but nothing changes. He is clearly a very selfish individual who causes his very patient neighbours daily pronlems!! Please help!!!

Line of potholes at road edge, 12th February

Thu, 12 Feb 2015 00:10:37 +0000
50.492967 -4.130494

At the 'T' junction at the top of the village, there is a high wall, (this is on the left as you travel down from Crapstone) at the base of which the road surface is breaking up along one section. This is, unfortunately, protruding into the carriageway and is where you have to drive to avoid cars parked on the other side of the road.

Dog fouling, 18th October

Sat, 18 Oct 2014 07:39:59 +0100
50.4930279208105 -4.13319818650813

Continuous episodes of dog fouling on my driveway and along the roadside. There is a serious problem with dog fouling throughout the village and it has been reported on the school playing fields also. There are numerous piles of dog faeces on the route to school on hillside road and pavements at the end of Lady Modiford walk by the pedestrian steps up to Cuxton Meadows. I counted at least x4 on the school run yesterday. It is not only a nuisance but a health hazard for the children who are at risk of getting in contact with it. I have joined many parents who have reported it but still wait to have something done about it. Please can you help us?
