House now shaking/vibrating when large vehicles drive past, 3rd September
There was a very noticeable pothole alongside a manhole cover. It was poorly filled and several weeks later, once again every vehicle strikes the edge of the cover. On the opposite carriageway, there are 2 other large potholes that don’t quite meet the requirements for repair it seems. In the last fortnight, our house has started shaking, the roof creaks and the living room radiator shudders and groans. The window frames also make a popping sound. Thus happens when large vehicles drive by us. I am getting very concerned that the continued bouncing of heavy vehicles is starting to affect my property. Any idea on who to contact? The pothole near the manhole cover was only repaired after a car burst a tyre, a motorbike crashed and a cyclist damaged a wheel. This Rd is the A386.

Tree fallen across River Walkham, 23rd May
A large tree has fallen from the Whitchurch Road side of the River Walkham and is completely spanning the river. Debris is backing up behind it and if the river rises due to heavy rainfall, it could be dislodged and undermine the root systems of surrounding trees causing them to also fall into / across the river. It looks as if it can only be accessed through Franco Farm, although it isn't one of their trees.

Dangerous and aggressive tailgaters, 2nd August
The A386 from Tavistock to Plymouth is a lawless place with most drivers now tailgating each other and acting aggressively, like I have never experienced before. In two years of commuting I have never seen a police presence on this road, so people feel safe to intimidate and threaten other drivers just because they are unhappy with the congestion.

15 x 12 inch pothole, 1st February
This ever growing pothole is just below the junction of Bedford Road with Jordan lane & owing to the narrowness of the lane there is no way to drive around the hole. The flood water rushing down Jordan Lane erodes the pothole & removes the surface of the road & we are concerned that we will damage our cars.

Owner occupier parks six cars in cul de sac, 4 on road!, 15th December
My neighbour opposite 7 Criss Park (my address) has at least two delapidated cars on his driveway, a further delapidated Land Rover over the entrance to his driveway and then a further 3 cars on the road. These have been parked for years now, in the same places. He drives only one of these cars and the others never move and have grass growing under them. Please note he lives alone and has a driveway that would take at least 2 cars. As far as I now the cars are legally parked but parking on our cul de sac is very limited indeed, to the point that even those with driveways complain about the lack of space. Turning is restricted because of these vehicles. The cars in question are not in use, are old and broken down, are parked poorly and cause many people problems (at least 5 neighbours have asked him to move them, including myself) but nothing changes. He is clearly a very selfish individual who causes his very patient neighbours daily pronlems!! Please help!!!

Line of potholes at road edge, 12th February
At the 'T' junction at the top of the village, there is a high wall, (this is on the left as you travel down from Crapstone) at the base of which the road surface is breaking up along one section. This is, unfortunately, protruding into the carriageway and is where you have to drive to avoid cars parked on the other side of the road.
