Pothole in the road, 11th January
There is a pothole in the road here, in the dark you don't see it and I have now made a mental note so I don't hit it again as you can feel a real bump in car when you hit it.

Missing water stop tap cover in road in Bray Shop, 31st October
There's a missing stop tap cover in the road outside Chapel Cottage in Bray Shop. It's a hazard for people walking to and from their cottages (and of course anyone else walking/delivering there) but is also full of mud and leaves.

Obliterated road edge markings, 9th March
There is normally a white line at the edge of the road on both sides of the A388. On the stretch from Penpill Farm down the hill to Wooda these are either worn away or covered with debris. At night in wet conditions, driving in that direction becomes particularly hazardous due to inability to judge the edge against oncoming headlight beams.

Large pot hole opposite no. 1 stoke road, 16th January
I think this pot hole was repaired a little while ago, but now its twice the size and could cause some damage to cars. Further up the lane (towards Duchy College) the road surface is very bad and very bumpy to drive over.

It is on a bend and jars the suspension. It has been there at least 3 weeks.

Road drain blocked yet again. Several inches of mud in my drive again, 19th March
My property is at the bottom of Downgate with road drainage from right and left. There is a drain on the right which blocks frequently. Drainage from the other side flows into a stream. This too blocks rapidly. Consequently the drainage from both sides pours into my driveway and covers a large area in thick mud and debris. This results in the drive becoming boggy so that vehicles cause potholes.
