Pothole recently fixed has completely disintegrated., 27th December
Pothole next to drain covers was fixed earlier this month and all tarmac pieces are now out on top of road. This is in a dip in the road between s slopes and gets filled with water which becomes very dangerous as you can’t see the pothole or lumps of tarmac on the surface.

Numerous deep pothole, collapsing road, 19th September
There are once again numerous large potholes on this road between the plantation below Roundhill Cottages and the entrance to Greystone Wood above Lowley Bridge. They have reappeared following minor and poor quality repairs only last year. Driving along this road is akin to a slalom exercise, trying to avoid banging into the holes.
Most significant is the one in the above photograph: not only is the pothole itself extremely deep (and much worse now than in this June photograph) but the edge of the road alongside has collapsed for an extended stretch, leving a jagged tarmac edge with a drop that is in places over 5" deep - the risk of damage to tyres, wheels and suspension is considerable. Drivers now have to try and drive on the bank to the side of the pothole to avoid the collapsed stretch.
The road is closed during the day to through traffic until 2nd October for gas works, although the works themselves are south of Lowley Bridge. This would be an ideal time therefore to repair many of the potholes on this road, as well as to scrape-back all those sections where the verges are encroaching on the width of the road and where the middle of the road is becoming as fertile as a field!

Extensive unavoidable deep & sharp potholes, 11th May
While these pictures were taken in March, the potholes have got worse over the last 2 months.
It is not possible to drive down this road without lurching into some of these deep and sharp potholes, while trying to avoid others means having to go so close to the high hedge banks that one risks damaging doormirrors or even paintwork.
Immediately below the potholes the gravel and mud that washed down the hill over the winter has now been compacted so hard, and in places partially eroded, to the extent that it's like driving on an unmade dirt track on the moors.
I have been reporting these potholes since at least May last year, and while others further along this lane have been filled in (and were subsequently been washed out again) these huge potholes have been ignored time and time again, just left to get worse.
Please, please would you so something about these holes & the condition of the road?
Thank you.

Two drains completely blocked causing flooding., 19th January
These drains have been blocked for weeks, despite requests for inspection & clearing and are getting worse. The drain immediately at the house wall is totally blocked, and does not allow any water through. The drain further down the hill on the same side is also completely blocked. The drains on the opposite side of the road also appear blocked with leaves/heavy gravel silt. This is causing dangerous flooding on the road as the water is not getting properly channelled to the ford. At times the road has been totally covered in water. The first photo shows the deep channel on the right totally filled to the brim. The silt needs to be totally removed and not piled up next to the drain (as gas happened before) which comes straight back on to the road at the next rainfall.

Numerous deep and extensive potholes between Roundhill Cottages & Greystonemoor Plantation, 21st August
I reported these potholes on 25th May (see description below). Other than someone drawing lines round a few of them with blue paint there has been no remedial action. The road surface has further deteriorated over the summer and the holes result in a severe jolt should one not notice them in the dark or be unable to avoid them owing to oncoming traffic.
Original description: "Numerous deep and extensive potholes coming down the hill and on the field-gate bend between Roundhill Cottages & Greystonemoor Plantation, many of which require evasive action, requiring that one drives dangerously close to the shillet/stone banks. Some are so deep that they are bone-jarring if driven into.
The road from that bend to the Plantation has extended stretches of badly crumbling road surface, as well as potholes.
All in all this road is uncomfortable to walk on, dangerous to cycle down, and is damaging to vehicles."

Blocked road drain at foot of steep hill between Roundhill Cottages (PL15 9PA) & Greystonemoor Plantation, 25th May
Blocked road drain at foot of steep hill between Roundhill Cottages (PL15 9PA) & Greystonemoor Plantation - this leads to water accumulation on the road bend and has accelerated the deterioration of the road surface as water coming down the hill scours away the tarmac.

Very large pothole has developed around three square drain covers. Also there is continual water flowing on the road from these., 29th March
This pothole has got significantly worse over the past few weeks and the iron drain covers are now very exposed and rocking as cars pass. The pothole is about 6 inches deep and 3 feet wide, opening at both ends and the side of the drain covers. Also the drain seems blocked as it is continually filled with water at the road surface (even in dry weather). This is a busy road and now poses a serious danger to vehicles, especially motorbikes.

Sequence of Potholes on road from Leburnick to Rezare, 4th February
The narrow road from Leburnick to Rezare, specifically on the stretch between Roundhill Cottages and the end of the fir wood plantation.
This piece of road is barely one vehicle wide and is deeply rutted on both sides by water run-off. Steep stone banks on either side of the road make evasive action impossible in some areas.
A succession of deep and long potholes have emerged over the winter that are difficult to avoid because of the ruts to the sides of the road; the potholes are several inches deep and are frequently full of water, making it difficult to see them in the dark.
Pictures of six of the most sever potholes / failed repairs are attached.
Also, the under-road drain at the foot of the hill is now blocked, as is the run-off drain to the field side 20 meters further on.

Road Surface - very dangerous!!, 30th April
The road surface is now very dangerous at this location - multiple pot holes. Damage is being caused to cars and tyres and making this a very dangerous spot as drivers who are aware of it are driving in oncoming lane of traffic to avoid! Cornwall Council have been aware for a number of months as a 'temporary surface' sign has been placed at each end, but nothing done about it.
