The road is being fully closed for 10-15mins at a time , resulting in confused road users, and they have the incorrect permit type to allow this type of works. This is creating risk for the road users and the workers alike because it's not explained what is happening. People are chancing the lights as the temporary full road closure is not communicated, and those coming from Stamford Can't see around the corner to see that there is a lorry in the middle of the road. Example is 2pm Sunday 21st April . Permit number is DY66290299562D-03.

There is a potential health and safety issue concerning the footpath between Uffington & Stamford and I don't know if responsibility rests with the Council or the local landowner. Yesterday I was narrowly missed by a branch the size of my forearm falling from what seems to be a dead tree - last one to the right of the footpath approx. 100m after the 30mph derestriction sign when leaving Uffington toward Stamford. There are several bits of similar debris on the footpath and grass in the area. Please advise. Regards, Pete Hickman

There are a number of deep potholes down the roadway. It doesn’t help that the grass verge is higher than the roadway, really the verge needs lowering or channels for the water to drain away need to be dug.

Every day these traffic lights keep failing no work men do anything till at least 20mins traffic blocking whole road both directions. Needs sorting as a daily issue clearly someone hasn't set these road works traffic lights as it's a daily issue please sort before this causes a accident as workmen on site don't pay attention we all left sitting for over 30mins today

Outside our property at 1 Main Road , Uffington, 16th March
There is extensive work going on outside our house by Network plus and am notifying you of 2 issues we face. The most important is the demolition of a manhole cover by a large vehicle using the verge at some point in the mast couple of days. The underground pipes have been exposed and nothing has been put in position to warn people of the danger - this is very important
Also the ongoing work and vehicle movement is causing damage to our exit point onto the main road and we would expect that this can be remedied when the work is eventually finished.
