Another Blocked drain., 18th February
This is the same as the one reported further down. Please do not think they are the same problem! The majority of drains on the eastern end of West Street are blocked within two inches of it reaching the top, therefore creating more surface run off for the drains further down! By fixing these remedial problems proactively, there’ll be less need to be on the back foot and having to deal with them when the rain is falling.

Street sweeper blocked drain, 9th February
The street sweeper has been down Bridge Street this morning, but just swept big piles of detrious around the only drain at the bottom of the hill on Bridge Street. The stuff is going down the drain and it's probably going to block it which in this heavy flooding weather is rather worrying. Can they come back and clean it up and clean it out of the drain.
